School Spirit and Leadership
Student Council: High school student government
Golden Key Club: Volunteers who assist the Admissions
Department in recruitment. Students serve as tour guides, represent
Nazareth at the 7th and 8th grade visits, and are "shadowed"
by interested middle school students during the high school choice
process.
National Honor Society: Nazareth’s best
and brightest students, who work together to demonstrate scholarship,
leadership, character and service.
Odyssey of the Mind: A creative and scientific
competition involving students throughout the Monroe County area.
Community service
Youth-To-Youth: Young women who reach out to society
to make a positive influence on Nazareth students and our community.
Members hold fundraisers and organize activities to raise awareness
of community issues.
Amnesty International: This student chapter of
the nonpartisan group works with the international organization
to help establish human rights for everyone.
Communications
Gabriel: The Nazareth student newspaper, edited
and published entirely by students
Lanthorn: The yearbook staff includes students
with interest in writing, graphic design and photography
Spectrum: The campus literary magazine publishes
student submissions of poetry, short stories and artistic illustration.
WNAZ: A group of students who keep the Nazareth
community informed of activities and special events, using the school’s
public address system.
