Academics. Broadband
Internet access in every room; biology, chemistry, computing
and physics labs; “smart” classroom technology for
distance learning and high tech presentations; fully-stocked
library.
Arts: Two dance studios, performance-ready
auditorium, ceramics and fine-arts studios, darkroom, fine-arts
corridor.
Athletics: Full-sized gymnasium, modern
weight rooms and training facilities.
Other: Chapel for reflection and prayer;
bookstore with supplies, snacks and Nazareth apparel; cafeteria
serves hot home-cooked meals daily for a small fee. |
Dress code |
All students are required to wear the school
dress code that identifies them as part of our community of
learning. Details are available in the school office. |
Religion |
Students of all faiths are welcome; typically
the student body is 60 percent Catholic and 40 percent non-Catholic.

Transportation |
Monroe County school districts (including city
schools) provide bus transportation to Nazareth Academy within
15 miles; upperclass women may drive their own cars. |
Financial aid |
About one-third of Academy students receive tuition
assistance. |
Standardized Tests |
Students must take New York State Regents exams.
Advanced placement exams are offered in May for all AP Courses.
SAT, PSAT, and and other college-prep exams are offered on-site. |
Tuition |
Comparable to other Catholic schools for most
families. It can be paid in annual lump sum, 11 month bank draft
or credit-card schedule. Collection is managed by a school-tuition
firm; rates are available in the office. |
