  1. Do you offer any accelerated classes?
    Yes, Math and Science are accelerated for some students. Assessment and classroom performance determine student placement.
  2. How long are classes?
    Instruction is divided into a six-day cycle that alternates with odd and even days. Generally, classes are scheduled in 40 min and 80 min. blocks of time. English, Math, Social Studies, Science, Religious Studies and Foreign Language meet in an assigned block, while Art, Music, Physical Education and Health, Dance and Computer are scheduled to meet on a rotational basis.
  3. What do you offer in electives?
    Students select an elective course to participate in for the academic year. This course meets during the academic day and credit is assigned.

  4. Is transportation available?
    Students come to Nazareth Hall from 18 of Monroe County's school districts. Students living more than 1/2 mile away and less than 15 miles from Nazareth Hall may apply to their respective school districts for transportation by April 1. Forms are available at Registration.
  5. Do you have to be Catholic to attend?
    No, students of all faiths are welcome. The development of service and individual spirituality is primary focus of Nazareth Hall Middle School’s Religious Education program. Understanding oneself and respecting others is a consistent theme. All students are taught and expected to practice Gospel values consistent with the philosophy of the school. These are: cooperation rather than competition, compassion rather than indifference, ethical choices rather than profit.
