• Children's Choir

Children's Choir is an after-school enrichment program for students in Grades 3–6. Students rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3–4 p.m., beginning October 7 (no rehearsal on Monday, October 21). Sr. Anita Kurowski, SSJ, is the Choir Director and Mrs. Gutknecht (Grade 5) is the Choir Manager and Assistant.

The choir performs at both the Christmas and Spring Concerts, at special outside school events (such as the Barnes & Noble Book Fair and Rochester Red Wings games), at nursing homes, and medical care facilities. The choir also provides music at Masses and Prayer Services.

Students in choir develop their singing and performing skills, interact with children of different ages, learn about music as prayer, celebration, art form, and service. They build a bond of community with their fellow singers in the group. The group practices hard but also enjoys many playful moments!

Performance Attire: Choir students will need navy blue Nazareth school uniform pants, navy blue or black dress shoes, and dark socks. The school provides a special Choir polo shirt for students to wear at events and then return to school.
