STREAM FOCUS: Nazareth provides an integrated approach to learning science, technology, religion, engineering, the arts and math. This focus develops critical thinking, problem solving skills, and technology literacy.
Our Curriculum: Grades 1 - 6
The best of the NYS Learning Standards are integrated into our challenging curriculum to motivate, encourage and excite our students about learning. We continually access student growth using internal assessments and benchmarks, plus the NYS tests in ELA, Math and Science.

Special Area Subjects:
Physical Education, Chorus, Music, Visual Arts, Library, Technology
Academic Support:
Academic Intervention Services (AIS) are provided for students in K-6 needing extra support in reading, writing and/or math.
Visual Arts:
Our strong program introduces the students to various artists, styles and techniques.
Music:
A well-rounded music program is provided for PK - Grade 6 students. Grades 3 and 4 learn to play the recorder. Grade 5 learns the keyboard and Grade 6 students learn the guitar. All grades experience Chorus once a week in preparation for our Christmas and spring concerts.
Technology:
Students learn keyboarding, technology skills, cybersafety, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and more in our Tech Lab.
Library:
Our PK - 6 students participate in a weekly library class where they grow in their love for reading, study authors, and connect books to life experiences. Nazareth participates each year in the city storytelling competition.
