First Lego League

Nazareth’s 2025 FIRST® LEGO® League Team

Nazareth Elementary is proud to once again offer a FIRST® LEGO® League team for our Grade 5 and Grade 6 students! While many of our younger learners love LEGO®, this club is designed specifically for upper elementary students who are ready to take on the challenge of coding, designing, and problem-solving as part of an official competitive team.

This year’s season theme is UNEARTHED™: An Archaeology-Inspired Robotics Challenge. Students will dig into history to uncover stories, artifacts, and innovations from the past—and then use STEM skills, creativity, and teamwork to design solutions that connect discoveries to the future.

Our team will work together to:

  • Learn coding and robotics using LEGO® technology

  • Build problem-solving and teamwork skills

  • Prepare for the regional competition at McQuaid Jesuit in December

FIRST® LEGO® League is an international program that introduces children to the fun of science, technology, engineering, and math while building confidence and collaboration. Although the League has age divisions that begin as early as preschool, Nazareth designates one official team at the Grade 5–6 level for competition.

Together, our students will discover that every artifact tells a story, and every innovation is a step toward the future!

Please note: This club meets after-school twice a week September through December.
