Junior Achievement

At Nazareth Elementary, we are proud to offer students in Grades 4–6 the exciting opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement, a nationally recognized program that brings the world of work and finance to life. Through a dynamic 12-unit curriculum, students explore financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness in ways that are hands-on, creative, and fun.
The experience culminates in the capstone project, JA BizTown, where students step into real-world roles — running businesses, managing budgets, problem-solving, and working as a team. It’s a day our students never forget and one that gives them confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of how they can shape their future.

JA in a Day

Nazareth Elementary is excited to bring JA in a Day to students in Grades K–3, opening the door to age-appropriate lessons in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and community. In this one-day enrichment experience, Junior Achievement volunteers join our classrooms to guide students through fun, interactive activities that spark curiosity and build important life skills.

From learning how communities work to understanding the basics of earning, spending, and saving, our youngest learners begin to see how they can make a difference in the world around them. The program combines storytelling, problem-solving, and teamwork, creating a joyful, memorable experience that connects classroom learning to real-life concepts.

JA in a Day is also a wonderful stepping stone — preparing our younger students for the 12-unit Junior Achievement curriculum and JA BizTown capstone they’ll experience in Grades 4–6. It’s one more way Nazareth invests in the future of every child, inspiring confidence, responsibility, and a love of learning from the very start.
