We Sent Our Sixth Graders Off in Style with a Socially Distant Sending Forth Ceremony
This year's Sending Forth Ceremony for our Sixth Graders was unique because of COVID-19, yet all agreed it was a very special evening. Sister Margaret kicked off the event by having each student stand in front of their car (cars were parked at least six feet away from one another). Mrs. Olmo called up each student to receive their flower, certificate(s), yearbook, and cross in a Nazareth bag. Students were applauded as they came up to receive their awards and as they returned to their cars.
Each student received a Certificate of Achievement for completing Sixth Grade, and the following students earned special awards:
Christian Action Award: Tianna M.
Academic Excellence Award: Tianna M. and Alexis S.
Academic Growth Award: Shreeya R.
Nazareth Spirit Award: Marley K.
Presidential Award of Excellence: Marley K., Tianna M., Alexis S.
Presidential Award of Achievement: Anthony C., Terrance H., Jamie N., Shreeya R., Aiyanah R., Emmanuel T., and Nyah W.
Congratulations to all our students and many thanks to their families for joining us at this special event!
