Relatable PE Lesson by Nazareth Elementary

Mrs. Andolina brought current real-life events to her PE classroom today to help as an added resource to her curriculum. 

Utilizing a few snippets from the Buffalo Bills vs NY Giants primetime Sunday night football game, meant that the kids were visibly able to relate to some of their favorite athletes.

Demonstrating how eye contact may change as the body shifts to throw the ball was easy to grasp. How to hold, throw and catch the ball was captured on film, making it easy for the kids to practice and duplicate. 

Perhaps even more brilliant?  The creative out of the box approach may have brought the student who doesn't feel comfortable playing sports to the lesson AND engaged them! Thank you, Mrs. Andolina -- this was fun!
