A Message From Our Principal
-
Since 1871, the Sisters of St. Joseph have been providing quality Catholic education through the Nazareth Schools – Nazareth Hall, Nazareth Middle School, and Nazareth Academy. We are proud to continue that 150-year old spirit and tradition today at Nazareth Elementary.
Nazareth celebrates diversity and welcomes students of all ethnicities, faith heritages, and socio-economic backgrounds. It is a special place where faith, love, and learning thrive! At Nazareth, children in Preschool (three- and four-year olds) through Grade 6 grow in wisdom, age, and grace. They learn to strive for excellence, make choices based on Christian values, embrace diversity, and be of service to others.
Parents choose Nazareth for several reasons: strong academics, integration of faith and values into every aspect of the school day, enrichment opportunities, diversity of our student population, dedicated staff, and Nazareth’s safe, nurturing environment. Nazareth parents want their children to develop a love for learning, good moral character, and self-confidence that will allow them to be successful in school and in life.
Along with our strong academic programs, we offer many enrichment opportunities that enhance the curriculum, including:
- Chorus - Weekly
- Creative Dance Movement - Weekly
- Storytelling competition - Grades 3-6
- Technology Integration – Computers, Chromebooks, and Smartboards
- Academic Intervention Services
- School Social Worker Services
- Free After-School Tutoring
- After-school clubs such as 100 Mile Run Club, First Lego League, and Science Clubs
- Summer Tutoring - July
- Many social events and fundraisers that bring our school families together
Choosing a school for your child is a very important decision. We invite families to explore our website and Facebook page to see our school in action. Join us on the journey that will shape the leaders of tomorrow. Walk with us as together we grow, dream, pray, and look to a future full of promise. A Nazareth education with its strong foundation is an investment in a bright and beautiful future!
