Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Cynthia Freundschuh
Welcome to Third Grade!!!
I'm Mrs. Freundschuh (Friend-shoe), and I would like to welcome you to the Third Grade class page!
I graduated from Nazareth College with an undergraduate degree in History with a minor in elementary education and special education. I also hold a masters degree in Literacy from Nazareth College. I have been teaching for 30 years with the last four of them being at Nazareth. I started my career teaching Third Grade special education before moving on to other grade levels and am delighted to be back teaching Third grade.
When I'm not spending my time teaching, I enjoy reading or participating in musical activities.
On my site you will find information about what is happening in our classroom, homework assignments, and links to helpful websites. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. You can reach me by phone, email, or Class Dojo.
As we move into our temporary classroom, I have added 3 new pages to my website. You will find descriptions of each one below.
The first is the link to our Google Classroom page. It also contains a link to the step by step direction packet that was listed on the paper that was handed out at the "Material Grab and Go"
The second is the "Mickey's Minute" page. Each day you will be asked to respond to "Mickey Minute". You may find a question, a joke or a picture of Mickey helping me around the house. Your response will be how I take attendance in our temporary classroom. I'm giving you until 9:00pm each night to respond, because I know that some of you will be working on school work after your grown-ups come home from work. After 9:00pm your response will not be recorded and you will be marked absent on my daily attendance sheet. Please email your responses to me using my school email.
If you respond on Google Classroom, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SEND ME AN EMAIL!!!!
The third page called "Our Temporary Classroom contains all the assignments that have been posted to our Google Classroom. I will have copies of my notes, assignments and some videos. You may have to do an internet search for some of the videos. If you are having issues responding using classroom you can either print out a copy of the assignment or write your answers on a sheet of paper and then email what was completed. Please email your responses to me using my school email.
Also if you complete any workbook pages, you can send me a picture of that as well. Please feel free to send me a Dojo or email with any questions.
I hope to see your back in our regular classroom very soon!
