• Restorative Justice has become more and more prominent within the school setting and has become a way for students to communicate their feelings as well as connect with one another on a personal level. Personally, I feel that alongside the basic learning standards of school, students need to learn acceptance, tolerance, and become familiar with the idea of diversity. In my Schools Ability and Learning class, I learned about tolerance, not only of race/ethnicity, but of disabilities and abilities as well. RJ focuses on diversity, acceptance, as well as socio-emotional learning.

The websites below provide insight in methods of acceptance, tolerance, and diversity.

Edutopia discusses the process of Restorative Justice and how to implement it into your school as well as your classroom.

Teaching Tolerance discusses acceptance of race and ethnicity as well as identity formation.
